Community Preschool Teacher

Graduating with Honors,
Gailanne Dill has a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with double Minors
in French and Fine Arts from Eastern New Mexico University. She has an Early
Childhood Endorsement and is working toward her Master’s Degree in
Education. Prior to moving to Iowa, she taught preschool for two years in
Roswell, instructed Life Science at 20 different schools in New Mexico,
taught art for K-6th grades, music for Preschool-K and French to
7th grade students. She received the 2006-2007 Teacher of
Character Award, Silver Award. In 2007, her husband moved the family to
Grinnell to be closer to his parents and works at KGRN Radio. Gailanne and
her husband have a son, Alex, a daughter, Zoe, a cat and two guinea pigs.
She teaches art at Central Iowa Christian School for K-8th grades
and runs a youth group. She enjoys spending time with her children, playing
in the park, sledding, reading and illustrating children’s books.
